RIAÑO OPEN is the one-day mode of Riaño Trail Run whose route runs along trails and paths through the Regional Park Mountains of Riaño and Mampodre – Montaña Leonesa.
The RIAÑO OPEN has a unique route, starting in the town of Lario and finishing in Riaño. It coincides with the last 10 kms of stage 3 of the modalities 3x and 2x.
RIAÑO OPEN has a distance of 42.9 km, will start at 7:00 am on Sunday in the town of Lario and finish in the town of Riaño.
The RIAÑO OPEN has a positive elevation gain of 2,120m and a negative elevation gain of 2,140m.
The RIAÑO OPEN can only be done individually. There are 100 bibs available.
It is semi-self-sufficient and has a maximum completion time of 8 hours.
In addition, RIAÑO OPEN is a qualifying race for UTMB.

RIAÑO OPEN has a unique route that will start from the town of Lario and finish in Riaño. From Lario, we will take direction Liegos, Salamon, Remolina, Horcadas, where we will link with the route of stage 3 of 3x and 2x. Here we will climb the Pico Gilbo to descend again towards the town of Riaño, where the finish line will be located.
RIAÑO OPEN It starts at 7:00 am on Sunday in the town of Lario. It has a distance of 42,9 km and a difference in altitude of 2.120m+ and 2.140m-.
With a semi-self-sufficiency character, there are 3 refreshment posts along the route and the maximum time to complete the course is 8:00 hours.

All the runners of the RIAÑO TRAIL RUN, without exception, must make sure to bring the following material in order to be able to run the race:
Individual and Team Modality
Cell phone: With the battery fully charged and turned on during the entire test.
Thermal blanket: Minimum surface (1.4 x 2 m)
Whistle.
Container for liquid refreshment: No cups will be provided at the refreshment posts for the replenishment of liquids.
Windbreaker jacket
Containers and/or watertight bags for liquids: With a minimum total capacity of 1L.
Each runner of the Riaño Trail Run will be able to deliver a bag with the material he/she may need when arriving to the finish line, which will be delivered at the start of the stage and identified with his/her bib number.
The organization will bring this bag to the finish line.
The organization is not responsible for the objects deposited inside.
The organization has also planned a FREE shuttle bus service for all runners and companions with the companion pack that will connect the Riaño Camp with the start of each stage, as well as, the return from the finish of each stage with start or finish outside Riaño.
